The Deer Park

Hello!

A few days ago we went to Jægersborg Dyrehave- a deer park in the north of Copenhagen. Now- when I first heard of a “deer park” I was a bit confuzzled- it is basically 1,000 acres of forest and field in which 10,000 deer live. Now- I can tell you- when I first heard that I had wild hopes of perhaps petting and feeding deer! That would be fantastic! …And also horrible because if you feed the deer too much apparently the have to shoot them. -insert awkward silence- Anyhow I just wanted to share some of the pictures that I got at the park- it is a beautiful place- and although I do miss autumn in Vermont I was still very glad to get some fresh air and admire Danish nature.

A forest!

A lovely little stream.

A friendly caterpillar.

The skies in Denmark are fairy-tale blue!

My mum walking away down the path.

The park was lovely- and I believe we will be going there again. Perhaps then I’ll be able to capture more of it’s majesty!

Until next time-

Bye.
